com.gddevs.codicefiscaleVersion: 3.0.0+Last updated: September 14, 2026Acceptance of Terms and Age Requirements
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the CodEasy (CodEasy AI) application or accessing our website, the user fully and unreservedly accepts these Terms and Conditions of Service. If you do not agree with any provision, you must immediately uninstall the application and discontinue use of the service.
Use of the application is intended for persons who are at least 14 years of age (or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction to enter into binding agreements). Minors may only use the application under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Service Provider and Contact Details
The service is designed and provided by the independent developer GDDev. For inquiries, bug reports, legal information, or support, you can reach out through official channels:
License of Use and Personal Purpose
GDDev grants the user a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and royalty-free license to use CodEasy strictly for personal, non-commercial document archival and consultation.
Users may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, sublicense, or redistribute proprietary parts of the application without prior written authorization from the developer.
Local-First Architecture and Data Custody
CodEasy is architected according to the Local-First paradigm: all user data, scanned images, optical character recognition results, and neural model inferences remain exclusively inside the internal memory of the user's smartphone.
Absence of Legal Validity and Public Authorities
Digital copies of documents stored in CodEasy are convenience copies intended for private organizational purposes, consultation of deadlines, and quick reference.
Warning: Documents stored in CodEasy do not replace official original identification documents, licenses, or passports. During police or legal inspections, users must present official government-issued physical originals.
AI and OCR Engine Disclaimer
Text extraction and artificial intelligence features use local on-device machine learning models (such as Google ML Kit and LiteRT-LM). While highly optimized, automated recognition may contain errors, misreadings, or hallucinations.
The user is responsible for reviewing extracted values, dates, and amounts before relying on them for tax, contractual, or financial purposes.
Health and Medical Records
CodEasy allows users to store health insurance cards, medical test results, and prescriptions locally. The application is strictly an organizational tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information organized within the application.
Business Model, Advertisements and Donations
CodEasy is distributed free of charge on Google Play. Development and maintenance are supported through non-intrusive advertisements (Google AdMob) and voluntary user donations. No features require mandatory recurring paid subscriptions.
User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
Users agree not to use CodEasy for any illegal purpose, including the unauthorized storage or distribution of stolen identity documents, fraudulent materials, copyright-infringing content, or harmful code.
Integrated Third-Party Services
The application may interact with third-party platforms such as Google Play Services (app updates, in-app billing/donations), Google AdMob (advertising), and Google Drive API (optional backup). Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimer of Warranties ("As Is")
The software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the loss of device data, hardware failure, unbacked documents, or missed deadlines.
Intellectual Property and Open Source
All trademarks, logos, brand names, visual interfaces, and custom code are the property of GDDev or licensed open-source libraries (e.g. Flutter, MediaPipe, LiteRT).
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the application following the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy and applicable European Union regulations. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts.
